Mourners Kaddish

The sages teach that when we leave this world we still have a chance to climb levels in Heaven. The sages also explain that on the anniversary of passing of a loved one, the soul can achieve great elevation through recitation of the Kaddish Prayer.

Kaddish is unique in several ways. It is said in the language of Aramaic, it’s only said in the presence of ten Jewish men, and although it’s meant to elevate the souls of the deceased, there is no reference to death.

Kaddish is traditionally said for thirty days following the death of a child, spouse, or sibling, or eleven months for a parent’s passing. Additionally, it’s said on every subsequent anniversary of the loved one’s passing.

For those who are unable to say Kaddish for their loved ones, it is traditionally done through an agent who acquires a donation in exchange for this service.

We will say Kaddish for your loved one on the anniversary of their passing, or every day for thirty days or eleven months.
